What We Do

Live music and poetry. We match poets with bands and musicians to create new work for the stage, from intimate bar nights and match-up sessions to festival sets. Wordcore brings spoken word to new audiences with the energy of a gig. Bring a Wordcore set or night to your venue, festival or event, or join us as a poet or musician.

Visual art and poetry. Poets and visual artists collaborate on installations, murals, lanterns, lamps, prints and objects: words you can see and hold. We create live word murals, light and immersive installations, and commissioned pieces for festivals, councils, libraries, businesses and homes. Commission a Wordform piece, or join us as an artist or maker.

Our two-year flagship project. Artists from Wordcore and Wordform come together in trios of poet, musician and visual artist. In 2027 it opens as an immersive exhibition with sound and live performance woven through it. In 2028 the work grows into a full stage show. Partners, venues, sponsors and artists are welcome to join the journey.
