Workshop Host: Daniel Larsen-Barr
Join us for an immersive poetry workshop where we explore the boundary between the vivid image and the enduring symbol. Drawing inspiration from the expansive spirit of Walt Whitman and the metaphysical wit of John Donne, we will dive into the craft of building resonance within a single line.
Daniel Larsen-Barr is an Auckland-based poet and experienced workshop facilitator known for his thoughtful approach to both the craft and performance of poetry. With many years of experience supporting writers in community and creative programmes across Aotearoa New Zealand, he brings a deep understanding of language, rhythm, and narrative structure, helping poets develop confidence in their voice and clarity in their expression.
